At its heart, Tarot is a book of wisdom disguised as a deck of cards — a pictographic map of the Universe and of human experience. The symbols and archetypes within it draw from some of the oldest wisdom traditions in the world: Qabalah, Hermeticism, Astrology, and Numerology. You don't need to know any of them to start.
